Learning Networks are closed communities working towards a commonly held goal or objective and bringing together experts and practitioners to debate and discuss in a secure environment.
It allows specialist groups to set up and focus on a specific issue and share best practice and lessons learned. Facilities for members include:

Network Finest Countryside
An online community and resource for all those with an interest in the management of Englands finest countryside - Its Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and National Parks. Network Finest Countryside is the home of good ideas to share, and the latest news and views on how these very special places can achieve their full potential.
Walking the Way to Health
The Walking the way to Health learning network is for anyone involved in setting up or running health walks in their locality or at their place of work. Its main aim is to share the experiences from existing schemes throughout the United Kingdom and provide an opportunity for information exchange and discussion, or it is a place to share your thoughts, ask questions, find out about how health walks fit in to wider health, transport and environment strategies and learn more about evaluation, monitoring and funding your scheme. It will also keep you up to date with the latest news and research regarding walking for health.
Woodlands Initiative
This network provides information, support and a communication platform for projects and initiative who are working to maintain or increase woodland cover, assist or advise woodland businesses and educate who own or have an interest in woodlands.
