Doorstep Greens Initiative

Natural England, with the help of Lottery funding from the Big Lottery Fund, is helping 200 communities improve their quality of life. By creating or enhancing green spaces near to people's homes, we are helping people who experience disadvantage, and places where regeneration of the local environment is crucial.

With a goal of creating these projects by 2006, we have now identified all the projects and have closed to new applicants.
