Natural England

On 2 October 2006 English Nature, the landscape, access and recreation elements of the Countryside Agency and the environmental land management functions of the Rural Development Service came together to form Natural England.

Natural England is here to conserve and enhance the natural environment, for its intrinsic value, the wellbeing and enjoyment of people and the economic prosperity that it brings.
