Alphin Brook Walk (part of the Exeter Green Circle)
This walk follows the valley of the Alphin Brook along rural footpaths through the fringe of south west Exeter and along quiet lanes in the historic village of Alphington - 3 miles.
Ludwell Valley Walk (part of the Exeter Green Circle)
Explores the Riverside Valley Park, passing over the historic Exeter Ship Canal and the River Exe with its weirs and former mills. Passing through valley park paths and the leafy suburbs of eastern Exeter - 3 miles.
Mincinglake Walk (part of the Exeter Green Circle)
Follows Mincinglake stream between its source in the rolling farmland north of Sylvania Park and on to the former village of Whipton. Walking mostly along footpaths and bridleways there are superb views down the Exe esturay to the sea - 2 miles.
Hoopern Valley Walk (part of the Exeter Green Circle)
This walk passes close to the city wall and through the centre of St Davids's then on past the Lower Hoopern Valley to the Duryard Valley Park. Near the high point of the route, there are views to the sea in one direction and Dartmoor in another - 2 miles.
Redhills Walk (part of the Exeter Green Circle)
Explores the green areas and viewpoints in Redhills and the western fringes of Exeter. With some steep climbs between the river Exe floodplains and the hills, at the highest points there are spectacular panoramic views of the City. The walk also passes over the Exe via Millers Crossing bridge - 2.5 miles.
Exeter ship canal walks
3 walks along the canal, passing through the Riverside Valley Park and taking in the Double Locks Pub and/or the Turf Hotel - 1.5 to 2.5 miles.
River Exe Stroll
Level walk from near the centre of Exeter through Riverside Valley park and along the river - 3.5 miles.
