Below are a number of walks for you to try. All are between 1 and 5 miles and many are pushchair and wheelchair friendly and suitable for the whole family. Please see individual descriptions for further information.

Bournemouth

Stream, Heath and Woodland walk
A walk through Bournemouth's parks and gardens, passing through Talbot Heath and Pug's Hole woodland - 3.5 miles. 

The Meadows Walk
A walk through part of the Stour Valley Local Nature Reserve - 2.5 miles.

Gardens and Alum Chine
Starting from the pier, the walk follows the River Bourne via attractive gardens through the centre of Bournemouth to Westbourne, then back through the wooded Alum Chine and the promenade to the pier - 3.5 miles.

Poole

Quay and Park walk
This circular walk takes you along the shore of Poole harbour to the quay. It returns through Poole town centre,  then around Poole Park lake - 3.8 miles.

Upton Park walk
A choice of 2 walks through Upton Country Park, taking in gardens, parkland and woodland on the shores of Poole harbour - 2 and 3.6 miles.
