Across the East Midlands Region the agricultural landscape is changing. We aim to demonstrate more sustainable forms of land management which conserve the natural environment whilst meeting the needs of farmers, businesses and local communities.

We work closely with the Peak District National Park and the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB through its Finest Countryside programme.

Development needs to be of the highest standard in the countryside. Across the region we are encouraging postive planning for sustainable development.
