The Doorstep Greens we have supported
One of the important features of the Doorstep Greens initiative is its two-stage grant process. Project Preparation is an essential part of enabling people to explore what they might want to suit their own local needs.
Most of the 256 project preparation grants we have offered have lead to an application for a full Creation Grant. The first stage grant helps community groups to pull together what might be quite informal ideas and come upwith a fully costed and workable plan for a complex project. The more substantial grants we offer are known as 'creation grants'. These are the full grants to enable people to carry out work 'on the ground', and bring their plans to fruition. Click here (125kb pdf) to see the latest map (A3, pdf format) of projects to recieve an offer of a creation grant.
