Dedications: increasing land open to all

Now that there is a right of access under the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000 to open country and registered common land. Natural England is promoting another section of the act (Section 16).

This provides the opportunity to increase recreation activities, such as horse riding, cycling or canoeing by encouraging landowners to dedicate their land.
